Default horrible SQUEAK

so we recently upgraded the brakes to Force 10 SSBC discs. for the first 3 or 4 weeks of driving the car, everything was fine. Now, however, there is a horrible squeak everytime i break. There are 2 possiblities that i can think of. 1) my dad did not seat the breaks, or 2) the proportioning valve is set wrong.

What do you guys think?

How do the rotors look? Are they grooved or smooth? They might just be squeaking. They make some gooey red , or maybe it's blue, but anyway you wipe that stuff on the back of the pad and it keeps the pad from squeaking when the brakes are applied.

what do you meanby grooved or smooth, like if there are wear marks on the rotors?

Sometimes a small stone gets caught between the rotor and pad, causing chaos. As was said, look at the rotors. If they aren't smooth you have a problem. There should not be any grooves.

Yeah, when the pads get old, the rotor will have grooves in it. I know your pads are not old, but just wanted to check with you to see if you have any wear on the rotors. That's why you need to turn the rotor when you put new pads on. Go to a parts store and ask for a pad lubricant. You put that on the metal side of the pad, and when you apply the brakes that metal part will not squeak. It has the consistency of axle grease.

Soaring is correct. Believe it or not, brake systems need lubrication, but with special lubricants. Learn more here.
