Default Psiclone - Autolite 1100

Here it is bud. I have a bunch of pictures for ya so I made a thread instead of PM'ing ya. I'd have to send each pic individually.

The black piece I was talking about is an adjuster of sorts to lean out the carb if you are running rich. You
just turn it and it's supposed to lean out the car.

Well, here are the pics:

And the last set. As you can see here the black **** (of sorts) is cracked. If yours is still good you can just unscrew it and screw it onto this one. Also, there is a short 3" legnth of hose. It was connected to a small golden nipple on the rear of the carb. I misplaced this piece, but will continue to look for it.

The carblooks a lot like mine with the exception of 1 thing, if you look at any of the pics that are from above the carb, mine has a second pump on the opposite side from the accelerator pump. I assume from the some of the diagrams I've seen that this second pump would be the dashpot, but I'm not completely sure. The lever and linkage for that second pump are what I was referring to when I said mine was broken and/or missing. If there's anyone else that knows, will this carb work on my car? Mine is a '67 200 with a C4. I'm guessing it will since yours was the same setup, but I'm still fairly new to Mustangs so I could be completely wrong. I'll take some pics of mine later when I get home.

I just found one on ebay that's exactly like mine as far as I can tell. The pump with the plastic arm is where mine is broken and the linkage for that arm that runs underneath the carb is missing.

according to my setup, which might be retarded due to the PO, with a c4, my 1bbl has 2 "pumps" and a "single pump" would be for a standard transmission correct me if im wrong

Yep, the dashpot is that assembly opposite of the accelerating pump assembly and is for the automatic tranny only. Your ebay reference looks like the one for you. What a great starting price on that carb!!! Looks very clean and maintained....good luck on your bidding...

boeing & cog, thanks for the clarification. I thought that might be the case. And boeing I believe you're correct about the single pump being for a manual tranny (at least from everything I've found so far).

On that note does anyone know where I might be able to find parts to repair my carb? Or am I going to have to buy the whole thing for the pieces I need?

Yeah, that would explain it. The car was originally a 3 speed manual trans car. One of the PO's swapped it to a C4 and apparently, that's all they did. I didn't realize there was a difference.

EDIT: WOW! That carb looks amazing! I guess I have some work to do. []Psi, I have one suggestion for you. Go to www.hammersnipe.com and sign up for their service. Use that to snipe that auction rather than trying to bid on it. If you bid on that others will take it out from under you, so let the program do all the work for you.

I take that back. They did two things. They removed the 3 speed for a C4 and swapped to a dual bowl MC.
