Well guys, here's the dealo. I pulled out all the plugs, and they were dirty, but i checked each one for spark and cleaned them. The timing is right, they plugs are sparking, etc. The only thing I noticed was the spark wasn't consistent when i was turning over the engine, I wonder if this is the coil or pertronix, even though both are around a year old. Also, the plugs are wet like the carb is flooding, idk.I NEED MY CAR FIXED, What can this possibly be.
Try a cheapo coil to see ifyour good one might be going south, if the car runs better, get a good coil, if it dosent, save he cheapo for the next time you have issues. My brother-in-law's msd coil only lasted about 2 months.

One question.....Did the new distributor come with points and condensor? If not replace the condensor.

The other thing is when it quits and won't start take off the air cleaner and see if there is any fuel when you open the throttle.

i have fuel, i hear it squirting when i hit the pump. I put the pertronix in the distributor, it doesn't need the condensor correct? im about to put the points in to check if the pertronix is bad.

It actually turned out to be either the coil or pertronix unit. I replaced the unit with points, and the flamethrower 2 coil with a spare accel blaster coil. It's running like new now, just alittle weaker..
