Default O2 Sensor, Good Idea?

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to install an O2 sensor on my car so i can check the mixture of my carb. Has anyone done this?

If you can come up with a way to do it without an EFI system, then I am all ears.

I agree, kind of pointless on a non-EFI (FI) car... you could use a narrow band or wide band monitor which will give you more info than just an O2 would.

no, i believe it is pretty smart i was actually thinking about this today since i got the summit magazine today and i was checking it out. I would install the sensor and then hook it up to something like an Autometer Air/Fuel Ratio Meter!

I've seen standalone A/F ratio units. They have basic displays and it's not difficult tapping into the exhaust. Not a hassle at all.

You'd have to drill your exhaust and then weld on a ring with threads
