Unless you plan to minitub the car I would stick with the stock width rearend. Then determine the proper offset to maximize the tire size that will fit in the available space. I run a 275/40 on a 18x9 wheel with 5.94" backspacing and no spacer with a stock width (54.25") housing. The springs are from Global West that I had dearched an additional 2"...although I should have gone with only a 1" dearch so that I could fine tune the ride height with spacers if necessary after the springs settled.
