Default Turn Signal Question

I have a 65 mustang and my turn signal wont cancel (stop clicking) whenI complete my turn. I have to reset it to center (between left turn and right turn position)by hand. Does this sound like a turn signal cam problem? Need help. Thanks

It most likely the trip arm in the switch - as in you need a new switch. The switch assembly also contains the horn contacts and the wiring harness. Hint, the second one you do is always easier.

I have the same problem with my 66 coupe. I just move it back manually for now seeing its an automatic transmission and requires no shifting.

GTKFB, do you need to pull the steering wheel or just the horn assembly?

You have to pull the steering wheel to get to the horn assembly. At least with my steering wheel you do.

The switch is in the steering colomn so I imagine you have to pull all steering wheels. (ofcourse I could be wrong)
