A trick I learned from my friend John Dinkel when using stock engine mounts. I know its probably been done before John thought of it, but I dubbed it the Opentracker engine mount mod. Drill a hole through the driver's mount top to bottom, and dril a corresponding hole in the frame mount. Run a grade 8 bolt with big washers on bolt ends and a nylon lock nut on the other side. Tightn it down only to where the rubber just slightly gets tight. The weakest link in the mount is the driver's side rubber, over time and torquing it will separate allowning the engine to jump over. This through bolt works as a torque strap. I'm using stock engine mounts in the mustang with this mod. I'm hoping for 600+hp with a supercharged 408 Clevor. This works on early 65 mounts as well as late 65 up mounts.
