Default Fuel sending unit with low warning

I am looking for a fuel sending unit with the low level warning light on it. I cannot find one anywhere. I have checked numerous places. The old unit was badly rusted and getting rust into my gas. I temporarily replaced it with a regular unit with no warning. Now the unit only reads full even when it is empty. Has anyone ever found / seen a new unit available with the warning?

Thanks for searching. I am just stumped at how there are none out there. I only saw one other guy on the forum looking for one when I did the search. I guess he had no luck either. Oh well, I am going to re-wire the car anyways, so that will be one thing that I will take note of.

I helped a friend restore a 67 Fastback and we had the same problem. We did find a sensor replacement ($32 at www.mustangpartshouse.com) and stuck it in the old sender assembly - not overly difficult. I don't know if Ken (atMustang Parts House) still has inventory but give him atry.

Hey, thanks, they still have it. That will probably be the way I have to go.
