Yeah, After 4500, the engine is straining too much for me. However, i've revved well past 5k in first gear just toying around with it. I usually do that around once a day.

totally agreed. My butt-o-meter tells me when to stop it as well.
And I hope that I'm in the 4000-4500 that the 2 of you suggest.
I believe that my car is that load that 4000 can be easily mistaken with 6000 in any other car ..

Hold it that long, and you should get 6k+. I can get about 7k that way, but the acceleration isn't worth much over 6500. How high does it go shifting through the gears without losing acceleration?
