Indulge me

Black LX you don't even submit your real name so you are a nobody.I have noticed your sniping here lately and it is not appreciated. If you have some real information pertinent to this thread, then present it, otherwise don't post.

Well, the first thing that grabs me is the reflection of the paint. I love the colors.Therims bring it all together. Very dramatic execution of style and taste. It certainly gets the "Evil" approval.Oh, whats under that beauty's hood?

Lol, yeah, I'm nobody. Sniping here? I own a foxbody and classic mustang so I can post here and in the 5.0 section all I want. And what information is there in this thread anyway? There's no tech in here, all JamesW did was post a picture of a car that he likes. Where's your "real" information? Oh that's right you didn't have any either, you posted your opinion just like I did.

Very classy car. I have always thought that the 65-66 fastbacks were the best looking mustangs of all time. Oohh. That could me another discussion in of itself. I saw an archive photo of them desigining the fastback. It was parked next to a Jauguar X-type (I hope that is right) and a studebaker avanti. I can see the similarities, but a 65-66 fastback is still my vote for the best looking mustang of all time!
Wow. Absolutely great paint. BRG (british racing green) is still a great choice if you're going outside the lines. I do agree with others on the wheels, but heck, if they came on the car, great. My choice would be torque thrusts or the factory styled mag's for a mustang...cragar seems so GM to me. My first classic car (bought in 1967 when it wasn't a classic) was a 56 chevy with keystone's klassics, which I later also put on my...are you ready for this, truly...1970 Datsun 210 station wagon! I gotta find a pic and post that.
I like that car and the wheels compliment the car. I like Cragars too, I have 'em on my Mustang. As Black LX says, you could just have hubcaps if you don't want anyone to notice the wheels. My motto "Wheels make the car" you could put nice wheels like those on a plain Jane car and it will look a whole lot better than anything else you could do. IMO
Sweet car, is that a 66'? The white stripes and MUSTANG emblem look like a 66' to me but I am not sure I know what I am looking for. The wheels are the same that I run on my car except those are max 16, I believe they are 15", and I have 17"s. I guess I am lucky because I like those as well as a more stock look, and I don't have to go through life hating something and spreading that hate to others and defending myself in doing so.

1966:

I'll get a better pic of the '66 in a second since that one sucks...
Since it doesn't have those it's hard to tell. The easiest way (IMO) to tell a '65 apart from a '66 is either the gas cap or the grill/corral.
If I had to guess I'd say it's a '66. If you look closely at the grill you would see (to me atleast) that it doesn't have the top and bottom bars coming from the corral. On a non GT '66 mustang it won't have any bars but a GT will still have the 2 on the sides for the fog lights.
This is a '65 GT

This is a '66 GT (sorry for the big picture)
