Default Monte bar vs none

just detailed the engine bay a bit and added a new curved chrome monte carlo bar. LOVE the added look the chrome gives it. Didnt add the export brace at this time, unsure if/when that will be.

Havent taken her for a spin yet, will I notice much/any difference in the way the car handles????

You will definately feel a difference in handling around curves. The body wont roll as much.

The monte carlo bar and the sub frame connectors were twobracing add-ons that I noticed an immediateimprovement in the handling of the car.

Suggest installingthe export brace also.Itreally compliments the monte carlo bar and keeps the space between the shock towers and thecowl nice and square. Cheap money too.I didn't really notice a difference in the handling of the car, but then I already had the export brace and sub-frame connectorsin place.

I thought about the Monte Carlo bar and export brace for a while. Then a friend that raced in the NorCal Shelby club told me to do some hard turns in my 66 Fastback and watch the gap in between the fenders and the hood. Seeing them open and close bigtime convinced me to install both. Those are the only two 'mods' I did, and they can be removed wit minimum impact (I didn't drill the fender apron for the fourth bolt. If you do install, use a regular 5/16 bolt on the upper part without a washer. If the head of the bolt is too tall it will gouge the hood.

I bought my first Mustang this winter and one mod I did was an export brace and monte bar. I was amazed at the stiffness it added to the front end. Plus the parts were SO CHEAP, why wouldnt you?

yeah, $20 bucks for that rigidity. It amazes me how weak these mustangs are.
