There's a rebuilt one on Ebay right now for less than a grand, and free shipping .

Do you want a newer bullet proof c-4 or something original? TCI makes newer bullet proof models but if you want a older one, a junk yard or one of the other guys on here will be your best bet. You could find one that is still fine or get one rebuilt, oh yea, and what is the engine?
It's a 289. Thank you for all the input
ORIGINAL: sweet 65

I used to work at JW Performance Transmission, we had thousands of old transmissions out back.
We would buy them by the truckload, just for the cases.
I can remember a street and strip modification we would make, I had one in my Camero.
I loved it, if you accelerated normally, the tranny would shift slightly harder than stock, but from a dead stop I remember being able to smoke the tires for about 10feet...then at around 35Mph it would shift to second, and turn the tires another 3-4 times....2nd gear would take me to around 70Mph...then it would shift to third and cherp the tires.
Sadly I wraped that car around a phone poll....
