Default Cowl Vent **** w/ button and toggle

Sorry for the newbie question but I can't figure this out. On my Cowl Vent **** is a toggle switch and a button. What do these do. Here is a bad cell phone picture:

Heck if I know. What year is that? Nitrous maybe? My 65' sure doesn't look like that.

It is 64 1/2, I am going to follow the wires tonight, my guess is they don't go anywhere, since when I push or toggle nothing happens, at least nothing I can tell.

Well, I just ran the wires and they are snipped under the dash. I guess I'll never know. Anyone have any ideas on what I could hook up to those guys. I was thinking an interior light, but I only drive it during the day so that doesn't make sense. I will probably just take them off.

They look like "valet" switches for an aftermarket alarm. Clifford or Viper maybe? check to see if they also left hood pin or door pin swtches anywhere.
