Default Suspension components

I'm going to be needing to replace my front and rear springs sometime soon on my 67(I think 40 years of abuse is more than enough). Anyone have some websites of places that sell performance springs at a reasonable price? I've found some, but I'd like to spend less if I can.

Got my kit from www.laurelmountainmustang.com a while back. Without the steering components it was 677 for everything and that was with 620 springs, KYB Adjusts, thicker sways, mideye leafs, export, and then everything else was stock style. Bushings were midolene too. I think the prices went up alittle, but good deal no less.

There were a few things left out of the kit that you would need if you are doing a full scale rebuild, but you canreuse your old ones if you have them. Rear shock plates, strut rods, shock tower caps. Thats all I can think of.

All I really need right now are front coils/insulator pads, rear leaf and bushings/shackles. I already have sway bars, and everything else is in decent shape, though I'll need to do front bushings eventually, when I do I'll just get a control arm kit for it. I'm just trying to replace my wore out springs for now, budget considerations

Be careful replacing those front coils - they have LOTS of energy stored in them when you compress them. Might as well replace the shocks while you are doing that since you have to take them off anyway.

I got my rear leafs from Mustang's Plus - 4.5 mid-eye leaf and the car sits very nicely. I also used the 620 coils in the front with stock height insulators (and I also did the Shelby drop) and it sits perfectly in tune with the rear setup. This stuff (coils & leafs) from Mustang's Plus was good to go.

Yeah, I need shocks too. And yeah, I've heard nightmare stories about spring compressors that let loose/were used wrong etc. I've been looking at Mustangs plus as well, get some stuff from them often. I'm just trying to find the best deal, since most of my money went into the new engine. So the mid eye leaf and stock height front springs sets the car level? It doesn't have the stock low in the rear look?
