I've got a couple questions about that white fastback.
1. On the side of the grill there are chrome accents on what looks like the "gills". The are just inside of the headlight buckets. Were these optional or standard equipment? My stang never had any of those.
2. On the side there seems to be either a chrome strip or pin stripe in a "C" shape that follows the crease down the side and back again on the lower crease. Again, was this standard?
Oh, and it is a great looking car.

Those 'gills' were a factory frimoption in 1965, probably a dealer option as well.
The 'C' stripe was paintedand I thought it was only available on hardtops and convertibles. This factory option deleted the side scoop.

That FB is Phoenecian Yellow
. The gill chromes are aftermarket accents that the owner liked and installed to set it apart a little. He is a big fan of chrome and decided to add it where he could. He also went with the chrome wheel well trims, the chrome hood edge trim, and the stainless door edge guards for the same reason. The C accent is cheapo NAPA pinstriping that was on the car before he repainted it and he decided to keep it afterwards because he had been looking at it with the stripes for 20 years and it looked funny without it. He also paimted the vents black for the same reason, looked weird to him yellow.
Oh yeah the guy that owns that car is me
