Default 65 Grille

I took off the mustang "valance"? part of the grill and am painting it all black. Around the bottom edges there is a chromish strip. In the center of this there is a gap. Does anyone sell this strip all the way around or havfe something that hides the gap?

I can get pics if you need me too.

Thanks

Yeah, lay a picture on us. Your valance is that skirt under the bumper. The piece under the rad support and the bumper is the stone guard.

Oh, OK. If that is what he is pointing at, then I don't know what that is called. Maybe we can make up a name for it. How about the poontang brace?

Do the trims on a 66' meet there in the middle? Anyone have a pic of the 66' grill they could post? Might be a solution.

We are not talking about a 66 grille. This is a 65 question.

It's a clip on chrome piece. Most any mailorder Mustang parts house will have it.

The reason I referenced a 66' is because I thought they had that clip-on chrome piece like James so brilliantly suggested. Also shown on this 66'
