Anti-freeze
It's not that, but someone? put a gallon of the yellow stuff plus 2 gallons of water into the 15 quart system,[ it was drained.] I'm leaving for 2 weeks and cannot drain the system until I get back. Would it be OK to leave it that long?
All I know is the labels on the containers say don't mix. What the results might be is unknown. Check with a local radiator shop. At the least, drain and a power flush (remove the thermostat).

Yeah, I know, green in the 66, yellow in the 99, or was it the other way around. All I know is don't mix it and go on to bigger and better things.

I am lost!!
All I was saying is that some of the new yellow stuff says that it can be mixed with the green or any other coolant. I know because I sent my son to get me some coolant, he brought me back some yellow gak. I freaked out and told him I could not use it because I could not mix it, he told me that the label said it could be mixed with any coolant, and that is what the label said.
Had to eat crow you know!
It's nice to know you can mix some anti-freeze, but if you're like me, after you read the label once, you'll never read it again (human nature). To keep my rides running with minimal problems, I'll look first at what's in there and then add or replace with the same.
