hey fellas i just got my first mustang it's a 64 1/2 anyways it has a new c4 tranny and im geting ready to drain it and put new oil in so i wanted to ask what do you guys recomende?it's going to be my daily.

 

I just use the generic TYPE F tranny fluid from your local walmart. There are some more expensive ones if you go to an auto store but I dont think there is a whole lot of difference between them

 

I use Castrol type F. It ranges from your cheapo brand to royal purple or amsol. Just depends on what you want.

 

Just be sure it's type F = Ford.

It's referred to as fluid instead of oil. Yeah Type F is what you need. This is right out of the horse's mouth.
