Default RE: Leak??

I have small transmission and oil leaks. Not much to worry about. Going to have my local shop take a look at them this Friday.

I have what is know as "A Well Oild Machine"
I have leaks that have started leaking...mainly from the power steering.
Not for long though...engine, transmission, front suspension all come out in 2 weeks.
Going for the complete overhaul of all components, plus the Disk swap.

Luckily for me, the PO patched the gas tank leak...now it holds around 8 gallons...sigh...
Guess I need a tank to.

OOOh joy brings us to another topic ! What to use to fix leaks ! besides gaskets thats a given i use orange rtv compound on my oil pan with cork gaskets. I was getting some blow back on my oil stick i was using orange rtv compound but i pulled it out and put some black rtv compound which is better and how would you apply it to get a proper seal?
