Default 1966 Mustang Reverse Lights OU

I can't seem to figure out why my reverse lights don't work. I recently had the tranny rebuilt, but to my knowledge they worked fine before the tranny actually needed the rebuild. Should I take it to the Aamco? How can I check it out myself without having to worry about these guys? Is the reverse-light switch on the transmission reachable without actually removing the tranny? Thanks for any help!</P>

yes it is it is on the tranny with a two wire connector with the trans in reverse key on engine off and park brake set check for power into the switch and power out. If you have power in and out it is between the swithc and reverse lamps. Power in and not out it is a switch problem and if you have no power it is a circuit problem blown fuse or broken wire good luck. This is a very simple circuit to test always remember you need 12volts and a ground for the system to work.
