Hi again.Thanks for the warm welcome.I don't know about that 'Smartest person on this earth' thing, though. I do dearly love these cars and have spent a fair amount of time trying to fix them. My convertible is actually very presentable. I just haven't got the K code up to par cosmetically because I would be afraid to really hammer it, and that would be a shame.It isn't ugly, it's just not a show car.The 427 SOHC motor Glen mentioned was in a 67 coupe I used to have.My husband convinced me to sell it because I was 4 months along on having a baby. I guess it was a good idea to get rid of it, since it really was a death-trap, but I still kind of have mixed feelings about it. And, Clu7ch, you car isn't that bad. I've seen much worse chugging down the road. I don't think they were talking about your car.I need to go take a couple of pictures of mine, I guess. I took a bunch of engine shots of the convertible a few years ago, but it still looks like this. A little better, actually.
