Default Newbie saying hello

Hello. A friend of mine told me about this site, so I thought that I would check in and say Hi to everyone. Right now I have a 64 1/2 convertible with a 260,auto, A/C and a 65 K code fastback. The convertible is my everyday car. Anyway, Hi everybody.

Hi Glen. The fastback isn't really all that pretty. The paints a little tired and the interior is a bit rough. I've had the car for a while, but I never got around to getting it to look as nice as the convertible. I figured that I'ld be afraid to drive it like it needs to be driven if it looked too nice. It isn't very photogenic, but it sure is a hoot to drive.

Everybody....listen up....

This is Veronica, my friend from Houston. Veronica is absolutely the smartest person on this earth when it comes to classic mustangs. She had a Cammer engine that she sold, but had it in her mustang for awhile.
Welcome to our world, Veronica. I am glad you joined us and am looking forward to some great information from you.

Welcome. That fastback sure sounds great, I'd love to be able to get my hands on one of those.

So if I removed a custom built 351W with Alan Root heads, custom grind Crower solid lifter roller cam, etc. from my fastback and put in a 302, does that make me the second smartest?

What is wrong with a cammer in a '65 fastback? It sounds pretty cool to me.
