Default Cold cranking amps?

Just got my 67 back from the shop today with new headers and exhaust with a new cam in as well. Makes my 289 come to life.

Anyways the car died at a light after I left the shop. Eventually I got it home but I think it needs a new battery. Right now it says a 460 cold cranking amp battery is in there. Does that sound right for a 67' 289? I've read 650-800 is good. Could that be why my car turns for a while before it starts?
