I love my hedmans, they fit better than the tri-y's I tried, but do hang lower. I went with the ceramic elites for about $320.00.
Yeah, you would not survive some of the speed bumps we have around here. I would even be afraid of hitting a basic bump in the road for fear of denting those headers. Man, you guys live dangerously. Whenever I get a few pennies in my piggie bank I am going to put on mid length JBA's.

My hedmans fit my 351w fine when I had W heads, but changing out the starter was bear. I still have them on the shelf if anybody needs some for cheap.

So Daniel, I take it you don't recommend them?

+1 for the JBA's. They are pricey but you forget about that when the install and any subsequent removals go without a hitch. I love the sound too.

Truth be told I almost $hit a brick when I rolled off all of those $100.00 bills for it, but they are indeed a thing of beauty. On par with the quality of the Doug Thorley headersI installed on my dads 455 Olds powered GMC motor home.

I like my heddman hedders on my 65. They fit nicely (i've had to pull them out twice) and fit without a problem with both the C4 that was in the car and the Toploader currently in use.
do you have comps or super comps?
Maybe you can tell me which ones they are, can't really see the tag too well.

I bit the bullet and went JBA - should arrive from Summit tomorrow - $685 for the shorties, $179 for the H-pipe, $421 for the exhaust kit where the pipes exit the rear valence with 2.5" tips (JBA was the only product I could find that was designed to have the exhaust exit the rear valence "from the factory" - all the other products I looked at would require "me and the local muffler shop" to get acquainted and I don't know of any of these that have mandrel bending machines -then the flow and worse yet the sound just goes to ****e).

Check out this site and go to the bottom of the page for the MP3 file that has the JBA on a 65 mustang with 302 engine - sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

and yes I woke up hating myself in the morning

Wow, what a read.
I said they don't fit my C heads, which by the by have hedmans on them too. They git'r done alright. I think most headers will challenge starter R&R. I've had 3 different sets of hedmans, so I guess I do recommend them.

They are long tubes. I'm not sure about your heads though. Does world products list applicable part numbers, because I can check mine this weekend.
