Default Headmen headers vs. other brands

I just finished putting my 351 winsor in my 69 mach 1, and i got a pair of headmen headers but they fit like ****.... i had a hard time to put them in. Then when i got my tranny in i had to bend the oil pan just a bit. Does anyone else run into these problem. Or are headmen just no good. And i got the stage 8 lock bolts for them. Let me know what you guys know about this.. thanks again.... I heard that hooker headers are better.... im not sure... thanks.... also one more question has any body tired the blue halo lights on there cars.... here is the website, let me know what you guys know about this... i was thinking about getting them..... thanks again.... go to streetrodhq.com, then search blue halo, and they should come up... there 25 dollars...

I like my heddman hedders on my 65. They fit nicely (i've had to pull them out twice) and fit without a problem with both the C4 that was in the car and the Toploader currently in use.

I've had Hedmans and Hookers in different cars, but prefer the JBAs. They will cost you dearly, but the craftsmanship is top notch and fit exceptional, i.e. no trouble getting bolts in and out of the head as well as clearing the body, bellhousing, steering, etc.

I've been on various Mustang forums for many years now, and have never once heard a complaint about JBA headers.

I love my hedmans, they fit better than the tri-y's I tried, but do hang lower. I went with the ceramic elites for about $320.00.
