FYI, a good tip I read from Mustang Steve is to use tile nippers to remove the existing hogrings. They have a lot of force and will slice right through the old hog rings.

I replaced the buns and covers on my 67 a few years back. It can be done, just takes some time and patience. About the only tools you need are hog ring pliers and hog rings. The following link from Mustang Monthly was very useful. Replacing the foam buns was the best thing I ever did.
