Default 1965 Coupe Question

I bought my 67 coupe from a guy about 45 mins from my house, when we first went there he had the 67, 70, 68 with a 390 (im still dreaming) and a 65 burried away in a pole barn, by the way he owns a small classic shop. But as i was saying i got the 67 fairly cheap, and i remember him bringing up the 65 and my dad and me looked at it (great shape for a complete restoration) he is asking $1,000 for it. Its got new floors, frame rails, cowl vents on both sides, trunk, and the body was in pretty good shape, no fenders tho. and it has a crap load of parts inside the car (we didnt pull everything out to see what all was there). My dad is pushin me to buy it since i have the cash and its a fairly cheap buy, personally im not too big of a 65 fan, but i was thinking maybe buy it and then do enough to complete the shell and get it going and resell it maybe. Im sorry i dont have any pictures yet, we are planning to go tomorrow morning and pull the car out and completly look threw everything, and if it seems to be a solid buy i guess that i will go ahead and buy it. Either way that it turns out i plan to get pictures of it. I do agree with my dad for $1,000 bucks delievered to the house thats a pretty good deal. So go or no go?

Its a pretty much rotted beyond the point in trying to fix, we got everything we wanted out of it now its just sitting there in the yard till we scrap it or someone gets it for like 100 bucks or so

Is the only thing that is missing are the fenders? I mean, does it run, and can you drive it? A grand sounds rather cheap if it does.

To what we saw today its only missing the fenders to complete the body, the major components are there(not installed tho) the man has the 289 and tranny there in the garage but isnt in the car.
