This is at the engine, if you knock off ~25% for drive train losses we are down to about 126 hp (138 for a stock 4V 302) at the wheels. I've actually seen tests that verify this is about the "right" horsepower when measured at the tires! Still think you're driving a muscle car?
They dynoed a Shelby 500GT on Top Gear (BBC) and made a big beal about how it "only" had ~440 peak hp at the rear wheels. Unfortunately, most people don't know exactly what the hp numbers that the manufacturers report mean and how they are arrived at; so, they couldn't see the dishonesty was actually on the part of Top Gear. Every car will have lower hp numbers at the wheels than the manufacturer reports, since thereported hp ismeasured at the engine by all manufacturers.

I used a 'K' code Fairlane to pick on GTO's, Vette's, old '57 bow ties and other chunks of large iron on the road. Some I took, others were - close. My 66GTKFB does as well today. Big means torque - slow, slugish, ponderous - are you wound up yet, torque. Nothing personal, just preferences.
