This is at the engine, if you knock off ~25% for drive train losses we are down to about 126 hp (138 for a stock 4V 302) at the wheels. I've actually seen tests that verify this is about the "right" horsepower when measured at the tires! Still think you're driving a muscle car?

thats depressing
i wanna get my 289 slightly modded dynoed. 289 w/ 57k miles, patriot tri ys, 650 cfm holley, edelbrock performer rpm airgap, and flowmaster 40s....thats gunna be depressing when i make 150 hp[:@][:@]

I used a 'K' code Fairlane to pick on GTO's, Vette's, old '57 bow ties and other chunks of large iron on the road. Some I took, others were - close.My 66GTKFB does as well today. Big means torque - slow, slugish, ponderous - are you wound up yet, torque. Nothing personal, just preferences.
