ok so i've been trying to get my phone to upload pics to the net of the midas fiasco but no go. so i took pics of the pics on my phone. sorry bout the horride quality but best i could do

the back left quarter



i think it may be missing something


basically f'ed up the whole brake system. dented the back hub of the brake and lost every lug, spring and front hub. luckly the axle wasnt bent


worst of all the pictures but this is the bottem of the left rear quarter panel......udder destruction



good news it it coming back from body tomorrow. its headed back over to midas and they are throwing me two new wheels for free (good thing cuz my fronts were bald), so it should be back home friday or saturday. i'll have my dad take pics and send em to me of the new quarter panel and work for you guys

 

The midas shop(now closed)in my town did the same thing. I worked across the street from it. One afternoon an old lady in a putt putt car left there ,did a yuey and her right front wheel ended up in my parking lot lol.

came home for the weekend for my gf's bday and to get some work done on the car. well i didnt have time to do the brakes my self (damn i wish i had now) and my dad gave me 100 bones and told me midas had a sale on brakes so i sent it over there. couple hours later they call saying their done. i pick it up and drive away. bout half a mile down the road it feels like the rear brake is rubbing on the hub for some reason. well im just about to turn around and the back left of my car drops about a foot and i knew exactly what had happened.....so pissed[:@]

dumbasses cant even remeber to tighten down lugs

 

they pay for damage?

 

ya they are paying for everything, no questions

 

oh well at least thats something
if you'd had to fight them to fix it that would have really been a pita.

 

Make sure you are happy with the craftsmanship before accepting it from the body shop.

oh trust me im gonna try and make it back this weekend to take a look at it....i want OEM stamped on that sheet metal.....it better be cuz i asked for it and they said i would be getting OEM not repo
