After just having my 66 sandblasted, I am piecing together everything now, since you all didn't believe me, here are my parts and pictures, most of the parts are favors from my dad's friends, im sending out thank you letters tomorrow morning
Here it is as it came to my house...

I don't have all the pictures small enough, but I will put together a slide show at some point, just gives you an idea of the condition
Here it is after it was sandblasted

suspension (maier racing, bilstein shocks plus too much else to list)

differentials both nodular 9 inch, one is a 3.25 w/ detroit locker (rebuilt locker, less harsh, they never break), and the other a 3.50 with a detroit locker

transmissions, i have many top loaders, the one for the 66 is coming soon, but these will go for now, one is for my 64 mercury comet, the other for my australian falcon xy-gt ho

all gears in the diffs and transmissions are micro polished using the smith&wesson gun barrel technique, which was introduced to gear sets for nascar by my father about 6-7 years ago, all the cases are coated with the standard nascar coating, some sort of teflon paint, but everything looks mint, can't wait, I will upload pics of the engine being built and after paint as it goes, pretty clean after sandblasting huh?

These first four are in South Africa earlier in the year, some parts such as the gas cap and rear plate are a little jacked up, but I have all new parts from Australia, I end up going down there a lot due to the fact I am from New Zealand, and my dad worked for Ford Australia in the 80's, so we have quite a few friends there, 5 with xygt-ho's, this eno was south african so some things are wrong, such as it is a 71 with a xw grill, but all will be changed, last few pics are in my dads warehouse in chicago, so that's our enxt resto project, then the mercury comet, both are currently automatic, but all of our cars naturally turn into 9 inch's with 4 speed top-loaders, it's just what we do.

now off the boat and in the states

and here is the suitcase of freshening up parts I have

and that awesome gascap..haha

oh yeah and it was origianally limlight green, one of 2 I think, so it's going back to the original color, those south africans do some weird sh** to cars, such as plad door panels?!?! it is black vinyl and has a white headliner now, who knows what happened, but its getting redone, exactly the same as the 66
