I've seen it before on ebay too, but I just thought I'd ask you guys what you thought about the price. It's a nice car, but it's not worth that much. But I agree with Emperor, I'm sure glad that I have mine.

That is definitely a trailer queen. I don't know if I like the color combination. I did'nt expect it to have that color interior. Maybe that makes it rare?
That price is steep, but I'm sure they will get big money for it. But man, buy a car that you wouldn't be able to drive?

I just looked at www2.nadaguides.com for values. This convertible is twice the value as listed for similar cars in top condition with all the options. There is a disclaimer for 'perfect' cars which the sellers of this one may want it to be in.
After a closer look, some of the parts that are still available as a Ford originals are aftermarket and some other things I've noticed:
- The mufflers, for example, do not have a Ford logo or other markings.
- The four bolts holding the cross member plate have the wrong finish, they should be phosphated not cad or zinc plated, and I bet some of the others are incorrect as well.
-The paint line on the lower front arms look 'masked', the part was dip painted.
- There is little 'wrinkle' texture on the rally pac.
It is a 'too perfect' museum piece with a few flaws.
