Nice, but not at that 'buy it now' price. There is such a thing as being 'too perfect'.

Overpriced for what we'd use a car for. This car is a museum piece that should never be driven. There are enough driven mustangs out there we can stand to have a few of these for posterity.

that car has been for sale for a long time. They are (a) dreaming or (b) looking for someone with an inverse relationship between their brain and their bank balance.

"This same 289ci 271hp K-Code engine is what propelled the Shelby 350's around the track on race day, and is what Ford installed factory original in the K-code Mustangs." I don't think so Tim...same block yes, same engine nup.

"The K-code cars are Ford Factory built and the baseline of Shelby. It will not be long before K-code's and Shelby's are grouped together price wise. " In your dreams sunshine!

That car has been on ebay 3 or 4 times now. I think the highest it's gotten up to was 75K. They also have a '65 non GT K code fastback that had a buy it now for 86K I think. It didn't sell either.

Isn't the only thing Shelby changed on the engines was the intake manifold, carb, and exhaust?

For performance, yes. The valve covers were special Shelbydress-up stuff.

So essentially, it is the same engine. Atleast long block wise. You could say that a Shelby is just a K code with some bolt ons.

youre talking about the road cars.
this clown claims the 271 k code is the SAME engine that "propelled the Shelby 350's around the track on race day"

You really think old CS ran stock engines plus a couple of bolt ons when racing???
