I kinda like that legend lime too! I'm thinking that would go good with some white stripes...

What about reverse hertz??? Gold metallic with black racing stripes???? I am thinking about that combination for my 65 fastback. What do you think????
I don't think that would come out very well.

I've had a gold one for 14yrs or so and I wouldn't suggest anyone paint it that color. In fact, mine is still all origional and I'm willing to repaint it a different color because I dislike the gold that much. If anything, I would think adding the black stripes to gold would look even worse than plain gold alone.

edit: I will admit that it's a very easy color to keep looking clean. I hardly ever wash mine and it usually looks very good.

looks about like the color ofmy mom's 2001 Expedition

seriously though, if it wasn't a factory color (as Soaring suggested), there is no way to tell what it is unless you locate the owner of that specific car.
The other issue is that different computer monitors will make the same color appear different. So what you're seeing and what some of the rest of us are seeing could be quite different. That also means that if you by chance got the actual paint code for that car, you may not like it as much in person as you do in that picture.

It would distort too much to get the accurate good.Good try tho.And any dark color is hard to keep clean.I have a real dark blue and no joke i wash it and fromt he time i go to get the tire cleaner(about 60 secs) there isa visible layer of dust.
