Just got this done yesterday with my sandpot came out really good. Primed it with self etch Now it just needs some paint !

very nice, i did the same thing on a bunch of parts, including the hinges. bought my sandpot from harbor freight though, works well!

 

I do mine in a cabinet with 40-80 grit glass beads and a vacuum, no dust, no mess. Then I either phosphate, paint or send to my plater.

wow, very impressive, it may not look like much but it does a great job[8D] are those ur hood hinges?

 

the ones in grey primer yes they are my hinges, im gonna blast the engine bay next and prime and paint it!
