Best thing to do would be to ask a body shop. Don't use putty as it will crack all the way around the scoop after the car is painted. I have never used kitty hair but I hear thats the bomb for doing stuff like that. I used the bondo glass and haven't had any problems yet. Whatever you use, apply the least amount as possible.

Bondo or even kitty hair (fiberglass) can crack over time.

Do like the corvette guys have done for years. Get a good bonding agent and you will never have any problems.3M makes a good one8115 for fiberglass to metal.

I don't know how different those scoops might be, but you grind the edge a little to give you more of a flange. I had already used self drilling/tapping screwsto mountthe scoop in place before Ibonded it.Remove it, then you add a liberal amount of bonding agent. I used the same screws to hold it in place while the bonding agent set up. I used a 90 minute cure bonding agent. Gives you enough time to get itwhere you want it.

The one's I purchased off e-bay did have one stud on each of them. I added one making for a total of two. I had to do so to suck the back of the scoop to the quarter. After I fit the scoops to the quarter panel I filled the scoop from the backside with urethane foam to bond it to the quarter panel. Then I used bondo glass to blend the edges in.
