my driver and passenger side windows dont go up all the way, they leave about an inch opening and i took off the door panel and tried to move the track but its hard to work in those doors, just a couple of holes. but it seems like if my windows went forward a little more towards the wing windowsthey would seal good, what should i do, new tracks?

 

There are a couple of rollers in a track that, when broke, probably caused your problem. Get a copy of the 67 Mustang Body Assembly Manual (NPD $16) for the correct way that the windows are assembled and a detailed factory allignment procedure.

Do you know exactly how precise that manual is ? I'd like to get a some diagrams of window guts myself but I'm always running into inadequite literature. I need somethign that shows all the details down to the last nut bolt and washer.

 

That's the book to get. The only thing missing is the detailed description of the individual piece of hardware and there is a source for that, AMK Products Ford Fasteners. I recomend getting a full set of your year.
