If you want to experiment with it before you go out and buy some high dollar ones you could always go to walmartThe walmart I live by sells them for $10 a piece and they are LED. They work pretty good, I put one on my gas powered scooter and it was lime green underglow. It looks pretty nice. But i would never put any on my car unless its in the inside like superdavid said.

My gauge lights are burnt out and have been out for awhile so I took that LED light from my scooter and put it in my dash and mounted it. I ran out of daylight so I am doin the switch and wire routing tomorro with daylight. I will take some pics when its dark out so you guys can see if you want me to. Just tell me yay or nay.

Another thing: make sure you mount the lights far enough from the place you want them to shine so that you get an acual glow effect rather than bright strips of light on the road with large dark areas. It bugs the heck outa me when they're not done right.

Its right before the glass over the gauges and I mounted it and tested it when it was dark and it looked pretty good. I just have to fix this one spot were it will be too bright

mat11089 I would fix the lights, but I dont see anywhere were i did have gauge lights. I have already looked into it when i was workin on my dash and had everything taken apart. So i am just gonna make my own. If I dont like it, I will just take it off and make some normal ones or just get some gauges with lights built in to them already.
