Tire Brand Preference??
I have Goodyears on it now. There are a lot of good brands out there such as Goodrich, Yokohama, Cooper and Bridgestone. I won't buy a Firestone tire ever again due to the crappy tires they made a few years back.

They last forever, and they are not very expensive. I have about 30,000 miles on my Goodyears, and they are about 1/2 way worn out. So, I certainly can't complain about their wear factor either. It wasn't too many years ago that if a tire lasted over 20K miles you were lucky.
i have goodyear eagles on my II that i bought "slightly used" from a local tire shop for something like 100 bucks for the whole set - and they still had "nipples" on them

I thought Bridgestone got a bad name a ways back so they focused on the Firestone name for a while. Then since the whole Explorer deal they were back to focusing mainly on the Bridgestone name.
