Yeah, we have beat this subject to death, and it just opens old wounds every time we get into it. I assume you know what a troll does.

Considering that the mustang is the first and only reproduction body to be licensed by Ford, I would have to say youre dead wrong. Its funny too that you would mention Hot Rod magazine, as theres a highly modified mustang on the cover of that very magazine this month.

OK, Ive said my $.02, lock it.

Ah, gee Glen, just a couple more digs at the 'saws-all' crowd.

You have to remember that were not all " oldschoolers" some of us are new to the car scene, and when new guys come, they bring new idea's and looks. The current look i see on most muscle cars around me are larger 18+ rims on a lowered car. I had my 71 lowered with modern(2003) mustang bullit rims and it just seemed that to many people had that look. I decided to go to the oldschool look because i was not a part of that era and wanted that look for myself, because i thought it looked when i saw it in our past mustang "history" Im all for the big rear tires and strip cars, that oldschool look because ive never had one like thatand i dont see them often-Jon

I think there is a great mix of cars in the Classic Section, and I like it that way! From unrestored originals to magizine quality resto-mods, they are all here.

I came to this forum to try and get into my son's Mustang project. Before coming here I had always been a Chevy guy, and I was having real trouble getting into the whole Ford thing, well I fell hook, line, and sinker and now I wanta Mustang of my own.

This is due largely to the the very diverse mix of cars and the people who own them. It would be a shame to mess up a good thing over an issue that is has been around for as long as there have been cars, and will continue to be an issue for as long as there are cars. We should endeavor to avoid stiring the pot too much, and agree to disagree, but with a little bit of fire and conviction in a good natured way. Just my view on the matter.

If I wanted to throw newer up to date tech on my car, Id go buy a brand new car. I want the look and feel of a classic.

So radial tires, electronic ignition and synthetic oil are all no-nos? Duly noted.
