trying to install my stereo

It has been a long time since I installed my in dash DVD player in my Evo but...

If you want to be able to watch a DVD while the car is in drive/gearI thinkyou need to connect the parking wire to a wire that will always have a + or - (what ever it is asking for) current. If you don't, you will only be able to watch a DVD when the parking brake is engaged.

I want to be able to see it on the go. can i hook up the (-) to the ground wire and the (+) to the battery?

When it says to connect the parking brake wire does it specify a current?

You might noteven have to connect thatwire. Try without it.

I got it thanks alot u guys. I just connected the (-) Brown wire to the Ground and it Showed the movie in the screen. Once again thanks a lot for the help
