Flowtech headers,, longtube for $90

I know that you get what you pay for with headers but has anyone had any experience with the flowtech brand? Its a great deal for someone trying to save a buck..

for a cheap bolton, i would buy them, i bought full length hookers and it seems i dont have enough clearance, so i may buy flowtech shorties untill i get new hookers

The ones Im lookg at are full length.. Where are you having clearance problems? Between the head and the wall or under the car?

i got the flowtech long tubes cause i needed some to hold me over until i could afford ceramic anyway they are on my 67 they went in with no clearance issues against anything they do tap the really big speed humps occasionaly other than that they are a great buy for the money they are definetly better than the stock manifolds and i would recomend them for a budget build i mean they are from hollley just like hooker so they cannot be that bad but i would buy them if you want headers but cannot afford some real nice jba or hooker super comp

ya usually you'll be left with about a 1-1 2/2 clerance....enough to get over mild speed bumps but i cant go to taco bell anymore

ive seen some of those flowtechs out of the box and if its just a tube to hold you over till you can get some hookers or other tri-y's they are ok for that but basically their crap....opened a box up and on of the headers was all scratched up and an ear was missing on the connection to the collector[:-]

I had a set of flowtech longtubes on the fastback for several years. No clearance issues (351W / C6)other than the rare speedbump. Bang for the buck they are hard to beat. They had nice thick flanges and a decent tone.

Just curious how much performance differences would Hooker or any other high end header have over Flowtech? Or is this comparison really about looks and heat disbursement.
