I just changed the cap & rotor and all the vacuum hoses spark plugs and wires... still doing it idels then goes down to about 200 rpms then back up, then back down then up then down just keeps ideling like that ... starting to pee me off
now i'm starting to think eather its the carb or the gas filter is dirty hmm
its wird if I hold the gass to 2000RPM's it dosent do that anymore even if I go over 2000 rpms... it only dose it at idel speed

I have a way of finding vacuum leaks....it works best to find leaks on the intake and fittings.
Start the engine, get a can of WD-40
Spray the WD-40 on the gasket seams, and fittings...if one is leaking the engine will smoothe out when the WD-40 meets the leak.

I think the problem is in the idle screws. When they are not feeding equally on both sides this will happen.Adjust them by turning them in to where they are tight, count how many turns it is.It should be around 2 full turns out each side.Im betting there is a difference in the amount of turns you find.
