Dash lights color

Is it true that the original color of the dash lights for a 1970 mustang or other vintage modelswere blue and not green.

Yes, it's a light green. You can take off the green film and make them white, but they will be too bright.

$ 90 can get you blue and green illuminated dash lights that are inerchangeable with a switch.
