No, Jimmy is giving you a picture ofhis EFI system that has nothing to do with your setup. You have a carbed system, and he has an EFI system. Two different animals.
JamesW. bad boy.

I think the valve covers you have now are ugly! I'll gladly take them off your hands.

the trick flow covers would look cool..... if the rest of the power plant looked like it required fabbed covers. personally, i think people are wasting their money to pay out the patoot for those things and then still have to drill for a vent (not to mention there wont be a baffle in there and things will get yukky dirty really quick)

i like the black and aluminum covers, they look correct on your motor. my vote is for leaving them alone, and using the trick flows for a future monster build where they belong.

see, black wrinkle ftw!

Actually that's a mid 90's Ford Explorer intake. The round hole at the bottom with the tubes coming out is the modern way the PCV valve is mounted. Under that valve is a rubber grommet, and under that is a steel mesh filter... and under that is an open hole to the lifter valley. The engine pulls it's crankcase ventilation out of the lfter valley and feeds it back intothe upper intake.

Point was...that all engines evacuate their crankcase fumes.
