Well those ones have a different style of steering box than mine. I was gonna say that I have a complete powersteering setup for sale/cheap, but I'm not sure where the break point is, 1967/68?

The pwr had a 20:1 gear box while the manual had a 16:1, which seems kind of backwards since the 20:1 should be easier to turn anyway. You could try using the manual but beware that the steering may be very quick and touchy. That may be why they went with the slower box from the factory...

My original 65 steering box is tight and responsive. It's not the steering box I have a problem with, it's that skinny assed steering wheel. Yeah, Yeah I know. I could upgrade. Just too cheap and I actually like the original appearance of the skinny steering wheel, even with the typical cracks.
