Default 1965 Engine Swap

I Have a 1965 Mustang 289 3 speed and i was wondering if a 351W would fit and if it would bolt up. if not what kind of modifications would it take to get it in there and would i have to change the tranny. i have plans to do that eventually but dont want to do it right now. any help would be appriciated.

If your bellhousing has the 6 bolt pattern and not the 5 bolts it will bolt on that end. but the engine compartment is a tight squeeze but is do able the motor mounts are the same other people have made the swap and some don't recemend it becase it is hard to work on even to just reach the spark plugs. I think this is covered in the FAQ sections and if you do a search I know its been discused before.
