i was thinking buy an old motor out of a pick up or something that has all the brakets alternator ect. then tare into it and rebuild it maby even stroke it.what would youdo if you had a budget of 4,000?

If your budget is to take a 6 banger car and make it a V8, then why not just sell your 6 banger, and buy a V8 for just a few thou more, then have around 8 grand to fix up the 8 banger? That's the route I would take.

well just do what i did go find an old galaxy or LTD and rip the FE out, it makes oodles of power and tourqe, and rebuild/stroke/blown whatever you want to do with it
