Default Need to replace the floor pans

Has anyone done this themselves? I found out I might have access to a welding machine so I thought about giving it a try. I need to do all of the floor and the trunk. Does the floor come in one piece or would it be easier to do it in smaller pieces?

1969 Grande w/351W

Thanks

I agree if you have never done it I would have someone help. On the other hand it's a hobby and you have to learn sometime. I recommend using full pans(one on the drivers and one for the passenger side). place new pans in vehicle to determine where to cut out the old ones(make sure you have enough overlap). Get under the car and make sure you get all wiring, fuel lines, brake lines,etc.. out of the way.Cut out the old ones. Place in the new ones rivet or screw into position. Weld in place ,remove screws and weld holes. Don't forgett to clean and paint the repair followed by undercoating. Good Luck

Yeah, by full pans, I hope you mean a full driver's side and a full passenger side. You can't get a "Full" pan inside the door.
