its over priced for what it is but some people spend that much for a fastback no matter what engine and trans it has

Just talked to a guy who paid $12,500 for a car in similair condition expect it had air (non-working) and steel style wheels. I'd say not a bad price for a fastback.

I'd say that it's a little too much for a non-running car. But fastbacks are highly desirable, so it might be a good investment. I'd go for it and offer him about $8500 for it. Good luck.

I bet it goes for $12.5k before bidding is done.$10K would have been a price you would not have lost any sleep over.

In pristine condition, these are going for $25K+ all day long on Ebay. Even a nice driver is going for $20K+. If you can get it nice for $10K, I don't see how you can lose. Aside from making sure the rust is minimal, make certain that all the interior pieces unique to the fastback are there because they can get expensive quick.

8K would be a nice investment, but at 10k I would think youwould be better off building and enjoying.

I did not bid on it - last week he put it up for14 k$ ! obviously nobody bought it at that price.

Maybe I am crazy, maybe I will never get a fastback, but 10 k$ or more for that car seems too much for me ... though I agree that on eBay you see a lot of them in worse condition going for more ...

Go Get IT! If you like fastbacks then it is a good price. You figure Dynacorn sells a shell for 15K and you can get all of this one for that price. If youdon't buy it then get out of my way and I'll pick it up. When you are done with the coupe then you can sell it to offset the cost of the FB...

For me it's a fastback or nothing at all... (But that is just me).

Here in CA 10K is a real good buy for a FB with no rust issues, but like the other mention is a minimun of another 10K to bring it up to a first class car, it is always the same situation ..buy something that you can drive and fix it slowly or buy one already finish, I was there, and it is my personalexperience that at the end the cost isaproximately the same, good luck with your decision

Just to put it in perspective foryou. When I was shopping for a Musatng 11 years ago, there was a fastback I went to see which looked just like the car you are looking at, even the same color and rims. Granted it was a running car, but he was asking $6,500 for the car. Maybe I coould have gotten it for $5,50? That was 11 yrs ago. I think that is a good price for the car,but I would not pay much more that $10,000 for it.
