I made the rotissery my self. couldn't see spending 800 and up to buy one. I have been filling holes in the engine compartment that arent neded any more and I had a hole I had to make a patch panel for by the battery box. I also smoothed over the vents. Its amazing what one can do in a little two car garage. Nine foot ceilings.

Andrew, I got about half of what you entered. Periods (located under and to the right of the letter 'L') would make your posting coherent.
Tony, As to the welded up cowl, what is going to be your heat source? Washington is not know for it's abundance of plam trees.

I was either thinking of taking air from between the splash shield and the door pillar or looking into making it recycle out of the interior. That was going to be one of my future questions here to see what any of you all did but since you already brought it up what do you recomend?

I have one of those plastic cowl covers for winter (it does rain in Northern California off and on) driving and the heater works by keeping the heater door on the RH side open. The fan provides circulation. You could do the open door thingor remove it altogether. Fresh air via the wings and windows are your only source. Cutting a new hole only leads to a way to get moisture in. In any case, I like your solution - weld the problem shut.
